Aarti Bhatnagar is an Executive Coach for Chiefs of Staff and Operating Leaders. Her practice is tailored to Chiefs of Staff and Operating Leaders because Aarti has lived these roles. She was a Chief of Staff twice - more recently at Guild Education for the Co-founder and President of the Learning Marketplace team. Before that, she was Chief of Staff at Change.org for the Product Development team. Aarti was also People Operations Director, leading a team of 10 operators, and a Program Director at EducationSuperHighway, where she developed consulting programs for the country’s 14,000 public K-12 school districts. Aarti began her career as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, supporting several Fortune 100 companies. She has a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Amongst all her career achievements, Aarti’s greatest personal joy has come from supporting individuals in navigating and reaching their career goals. She calls her approach “coachsulting”, a hybrid between coaching and consulting in which she asks powerful questions that guide the client in finding answers themselves while sometimes also providing concrete advice, training, and guidance from her own experiences from being a Chief of Staff and Operating Leader.
The clients she typically supports are Chiefs of Staff, Business Operations, Executive Assistants, Heads of Operations, Program Directors, and COOs. Her clients include Patreon, Airbnb, Guild, KPMG, ServiceNow, SandboxAQ, Fullscript, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, Gigs, 50CAN, Tennesseans for Student Success, and Kaizen Labs.
Aarti is trained in the Co-Active coach modality and is pursuing her Coaching Certification at the Co-Active Training Institute.
In her spare time, Aarti enjoys making music with her band, solutioning around intercultural relationship dynamics, and exploring all that Oakland has to offer with her husband and two cats.
