Sarah Thorpe Scott, Partner at Evolution, is an executive coach & advisor. She is passionate about helping executives lead more effectively and authentically, and helping teams and organizations work more successfully and easefully.

Sarah’s work is informed by twenty years of experience in the corporate world, where she built a track record of outsized revenue performance across several of the world's leading media corporations, including The New York Times, Forbes, & NBC and more recently a London based private equity backed media company. Sarah has led, coached, and mentored hundreds of high achievers within these organizations, across multiple countries and global regions, and served as Managing Director, EMEA for The New York Times.

Sarah began her career in investment banking at Credit Suisse in New York, focusing on fundraising & advisory work for private equity fund clients. Sarah earned her B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University. She’s completed an ICF-accredited coach training program and is certified in coaching with the Enneagram. She also earned a Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma, after a year-long course of study focused on corporate governance, from a technical and behavioural skills of effective boards and board members.

After growing up in North Carolina, and living in New York City for over a decade, Sarah now lives with her husband in London, where she’s been based since 2018. She serves as Chair of the Development Board of The Young Vic Theatre in London and Co-Chair of the Duke University UK Alumni Board. Sarah also serves as a coach and mentor to startup founders for the Techstars Global Mentor Network. She’s passionate about DE&I, and the intersection of the future of work and future of home. She feels incredibly lucky to be working with leaders and teams who have ambitious goals and the will to positively impact the world.
